Yazzie/Martinez Infosessions
In 2023 IAIE and NM Center on Law and Poverty conducted the Yazzie/Martinez v. State of New Mexico Community Update & Information Sessions. For several months the group visited community sites to present and discuss the current status of the landmark 2018 Yazzie/Martinez v. State of New Mexico ruling.
Disuccusions focused on: What was currently happening? What changes in educational services have been seen in communities? What persisting education issues needed to be addressed?
